Anyway, if you're freaked out by the quality of this poem, be assured that this is a first draft. I'm only posting here cause Sharm (idiot, whacko big time) stole my idea and I'm reinstating here, that, THIS IS MINE!!! BACK OFF!!!

    Hehe.

    Anyway...

    Whispers in the Night

Someone spoke to me last night,
    Whispers choked by sobs.
A forgotten figment from my past,
From a memory blurred by fog.

Muffled cries were all I heard,
But no longer did it last.
She did not dare to let it sound,
And I buried her within my past.

    A little child, crying softly,
    Wishing to be free.
Wanted me to know she was around,
Wanted again to be part of me.

She didn’t dare make more sounds,
And I didn’t dare let her to.
This world’s not for her eyes,
‘Tis the only thing I can do.

    I forgot why she came,
And why she was even there.
I wondered why I hid her away,
    Wondered why I even cared.

She talked to me last night,
    Pleading to be free.
I listened to her, but in the end,
Kept her under lock and key.

For this world that I’ve entered,
Is not for little Cassie to be,
    I’ve acted, made my choices
And the results are only for Cassandra to see.

Someone spoke to me last night,
    Whispers choked by sobs.
    I cried together with her,

Then buried her under once more.

    Yep, It was basically fluff.

I like fluff. I don't like the first draft.

Going to change it if I have time.

     -capture those moments ;
